Did you all get a taste of spring last week? We certainly did. I thoroughly enjoyed the several days of beautiful, 60-degree weather. My siblings and I took full advantage of the warmth and enjoyed walks and outside playtime. Some of us even pulled out short sleeves.
This gray knit shirt is one of my new favorites. It’s super comfortable and the three-quarter sleeve is just perfect for the almost-warm weather.
I love how the pink scarf adds some color to the outfit while the denim skirt keeps it casual.
Bethany and I were wearing coordinating stripes and colors so we had to get a picture together.
Skirt: eBay: I don’t recall the price

Simple, stylish, and fun is a perfect description for Anna’s outfit today.
Anna’s adorable outfit is composed of some great deals. Her skirt and t-shirt are from Goodwill and her top was free.
Anna looks great in this color!
Black t-shirt: Goodwill: $3
Dark denim skirt: Goodwill: $4

I’m always on the hunt for modest casual clothes, especially tops. Because I know how to sew, skirts usually aren’t as much of a problem for me. I recently found several cute, modest, summer tops for my favorite price–free. Yay! 🙂
This simple blue top looks cute paired a denim skirt. I wear a t-shirt under many of my summer tops for extra modesty. The necklace adds a nice touch for running errands.
I found these fun sandals at a thrift store. They still had the tags on them.
Blue top: free
White t-shirt: H&M: $5
Denim Skirt: Goodwill: $5
Sandals: Clothes Mentor: $3
It’s been almost a month since I’ve posted. My apologies to you faithful readers; life has been marching rapidly by. During the last week of February, I volunteered in our church kitchen. Our church hosts the Victory Conference every year but this was my first year to work in the kitchen. It was so much fun to work with like-minded ladies doing one of my favorite things—cooking!
I pulled the pieces for this outfit together in an attempt to find something to brighten up these cold winter days while staying warm. It’s been bitterly cold here in Wisconsin.
This pink-striped scarf did a great job of adding a pop of color. It’s just a long scarf with the ends tied together to form an infinity scarf.
(Yes, I play cello but I’m not very proficient.)

Gray sweater: Goodwill: $4
Denim skirt: Goodwill: $5
Pink Scarf: Borrowed from my sister
Anybody have some good tips on shooting with a Canon camera? Ours has been giving us trouble, thus the slightly blurry photos above. If you look closely enough, you’ll see that each picture has one clear, focused spot while the rest is slightly blurred. Tips, ideas, and advice would be appreciated.
Denim skirts are my go-to for my daily wardrobe. They are comfortable and can be dressed up or down as the occasion requires. At least one or two jean skirts are a must for every girl’s wardrobe.
Super simple–comfortable enough for around the house yet nice enough to run errands.
The ruffled collar adds a pretty, feminine detail.
I added a sweater when the temperatures went down later in the day.
Skirt: Goodwill ($3.99)
Blouse: Anna’s closet 🙂
White t-shirt: thrift store: $.25
Black sweater: rummage sale: $.25?
